Everything you need to know about English with Drama

Not at all! This course is designed for language learners, not trained actors. The drama techniques are used as tools for building speaking confidence — no previous experience needed.

Absolutely. Many students choose this course precisely because they're shy. The workshops start gently with pair exercises and small group activities, building gradually to larger performances. The atmosphere is always supportive and encouraging.

At the end of most courses, your group will create and perform a short piece — typically a sketch, short play, or series of scenes. It is sometimes performed at Loxdale and sometimes at the Barn Theatre. It's always a highlight and a wonderful way to celebrate your progress!
