Our Story
Loxdale English Centre welcomes adult students all year round to our British Council accredited English school in Brighton. We accept international young learners in January (12- to 17-year-olds) and during the summer period (8- to 17-year-olds). We also welcome closed group courses for young learners at any time outside the summer.
Whether you are an adult or child, our English courses in the UK are based on active student participation. Every programme is designed to reinforce your learning experience and appreciation of the English language, British culture, and life in the UK.
Loxdale is not like most other language schools for adults. Outside of summer, we offer you chances to individualise your learning and course — to learn more than just English language. Our lively and interactive programmes are designed for students who wish to improve their ability to communicate in English in the company of like-minded people from around the world.

British Council Top 5%
Inspected January 2025
The British Council inspected and accredited Loxdale English Centre in January 2025. The report confirms continued accreditation through March 2029. The inspection found that Loxdale meets the section standard and exceeds it in some respects across all five assessment areas.
