A summer English course by the sea in Brighton: morning lessons, afternoon activities, weekend excursions and a safe place to live, all in one weekly price. This page answers the questions parents and agents ask us most.
Mornings are English lessons: 20 lessons (15 hours) a week in international classes of up to 16, grouped by level. Afternoons and evenings are activities, and weekends include excursions — all included in the course price.
Students come from more than 20 countries, so English becomes the shared language in class, at activities and at home.
Homestay places your teenager with a local host family, for up to 7 weeks. The course plus homestay costs £803.00 for the first week (tuition £564.00, then £551.00 a week after that, plus homestay at £239.00 a week).
Residential is on our campus for ages 13–15, for up to 4 weeks, with staff on site in the same building: £934.00 for the first week. Both options include meals, activities and excursions.
Our welfare team is available 24 hours a day. All staff and host families are DBS-checked. Afternoon free time is supervised; with written parental permission, older students can visit Brighton or Hove, and every student is home by 6pm for dinner.
Under-18s must follow our safeguarding rules, including curfews. Parents receive the arrival and care information before travel.
Beyond the weekly price, budget for the £100.00 booking fee, the airport transfer (a return transfer from London Gatwick is £246.00) and pocket money — most students bring £30–£50 a week for snacks and souvenirs.
For ages 8–12 we run Summer Pre-Teens from 20 June to 1 August 2027 (up to 6 weeks), residential only, from £1,059.00 a week.
