Digital Media course

Course Description

The 21st Century is a digital age with a variety of different forums for people to use their imagination, individual expression, creativity and skills. This is exactly what we want to inspire the students joining the course in a safe way.

We will look at some teenage heroes of social media and their good deeds. Such as Charles Kolin who uses social media to advocate tolerance, kindness, acceptance and inclusion.

You will also look at the pros and cons of many of different media including YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, podcasting, Tumblr, Snapchat and TikTok.

This interesting course includes theoretical and practical parts and will allow you to work together with their classmates to look at the benefits and difficulties of modern media. With your classmates you will also look at how to give opinions and suggesting ideas to inspire them as you also work on your own project to show their class.

You will have work to prepare for the following day’s lessons each day.
