Learn new skills and enhance your appreciation of the English language and culture in the company of like-minded peers.
The 40+ Course combines our highly popular General English Course with an exciting range of subjects specially designed for mature students of all abilities. Gain confidence and strengthen your language skills by practising everyday English in a relaxed and friendly environment.
In the mornings students are generally with adult students of all ages and you have closed lessons for only 40+ students on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. There are generally school trips on Tuesday afternoons.
A lively programme of lectures, seminars and educational visits is complemented by an exploration of the English media, including reading newspapers, watching films and TV programmes. Learning is reinforced with tutor-led discussion and student participation.
It is also possible for 40+ students to join certain English Plus Course modules in the afternoons.
