Getting to the Loxdale English Centre
Once you have arrived in Brighton, either by coach (Pool Valley Coach Station) or by train (Brighton Railway Station or at Hove Railway Station) it is easiest to take a taxi direct to your host family in Portslade.
From Stansted Airport:
1. Getting a coach.
Walk to Stansted Coach Station.
Take the National Express Airport A6 coach to
Victoria Coach Station, London.

Once there take the National Express Shuttle O25 to Brighton.
You arrive at Pool Valley Coach Station. (130mins)
2. Getting the train.
Walk to Stansted Railway Station.
Take the train towards London Liverpool Street
to London Tottenham Hale (29 mins)
From there walk to the underground station (5 mins)
Get the Victoria Line South (tube) to London Victoria Station (22 mins)
Walk to the Victoria Train station (10 mins)
Take the Southern train to Brighton Railway Station. (98 mins)
From Luton Airport:
1. Getting a coach.
Take the shuttle bus from Bay 1 to Luton Airport Parkway Railway Station (5 mins)
Get the Jet Link bus to Pool Valley Coach Station in Brighton.
2. Getting the train.
Take the shuttle bus from Bay 1 to Luton Airport Parkway Railway Station (5 mins)
Take the train to Haywards Heath (109 mins)
Take the First Capital Connect Bus to Brighton Station (40 mins)
From Heathrow Airport:
1. Getting a coach.
Walk to Heathrow Central Bus & Coach Station
Then you can either:
a) Take the National Express Airport 747 direct to Brighton. (125 mins)
b) Take the National Express 201 to Gatwick South. (65 mins)
Walk to Gatwick North (23 mins)
Take the National Express Shuttle 025 to Brighton (45 mins)
2. Getting the train
Take the tube to Victoria Station from Heathrow (45 mins)
You can either :
a) Take the direct train to Brighton. (98 mins)
b) Take the direct train to Hove. (67 mins)
If you get this train get a taxi direct to your host family from here and do not go into Brighton. Hove is closer to Portslade than Brighton.
From Gatwick Airport:
1. Getting a coach.
Take the Jet Link bus to Pool Valley Coach Station in Brighton.
2. Getting the train.
You can either take the direct train to Brighton or to Hove.
If the times fit in with you take the train to Hove as it is closer to Portslade.
The train to Hove will take 28 minutes.
From London City Airport:
Take the shuttle bus from outside the terminal to Liverpool Street Station.
From there take the tube (circle line) to Victoria Station.
From there you can either take the bus or the train to Brighton.
